We've stayed at the Snowshoe Motel twice now, and both times have found it to be an acceptable, average roadside motel. With the kinds of prices that one can find in Alaska and the Yukon for lodging, the price we've paid (around $90) is actually a pretty good bargain. (Believe me, you can find a LOT worse for $90 in this part of the world.) Two queen beds, essentially in separate sleeping quarters, connected by the bathroom.
All was clean. Not the most comfortable bed in the world, but fine for one night's sleep. Nice hot shower. Their towels were a little scratchy and old...could stand to be replaced, but no big deal. Complimentary toiletries, and coffee.
All in all, we've found it to be a good place to crash for a night after a long day's driving and we'll probably end up staying at the Snowshoe again some year.
