we have just got back from resta reef hotel, what a great time we had, food excellent as good at close of service as at begining restaurant staff lovely soft spot for EBAH, rooms comfortable clean thanks to MOHAMAD clean towels and bedding every day, the beach paradise special thanks to MUMOOD for arranging beds and sunbeds he does a good job and tries his best to chat. then there is the beach bar lovely view and great service from REDA his information very helpfull and his english very good enjoyed our chats to him. must say we were expecting a little tummy trouble but pleased to say we had none thanks to fresh home cooked food well done restaurant manager Thank You Resta Reef hotel for lovely holiday Lyn & Barry Jack Jan 2012

We just arrived from Resta Reef. Holiday was great, hotel was nice and staff were excellent. We were very happy with bartender Reda.

We arrived late evening and I know its a three star so didn't expect the Ritz but first impressions of our room were basic and maybe in need of a little TLC. We also enquired about changing our room for one with a better view which the reception staff resolved effortlessly although the room was still a little tired. However the following morning when the sun was shining, suddenly you didn't notice this and for the next week we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.
The staff were amazingly polite and helpful and could not go out of their way enough to make us feel comfortable and ensure we had a brilliant stay.
The hotel does have everything you need, even wind breakers on the beach for your sun beds (which are very useful as it got a bit windy). Whilst on the point of sun beds, there was even a guy who arranged your beds for you so you didn't have to move them yourself! Really exceptional staff!
Theres brilliant snorkelling to be done off the pier at Resta Reef and great diving down at Port Ghalib with Emperor Divers (10mins away). You are also only 10mins away from the airport so no long transfers to worry about.
Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. If your looking for top notch upmarket then the Resta Grand next door is the one for you but for value for money, the Reef cannot be beaten.

We booked last minute and received a very warm welcome and sat down to the first of many excellent buffet meals. The room was sufficient and clean with a lovely view of the well kept gardens and two pools. Excellent value for money for a relaxing holiday if you need to recharge your batteries. The gym was an added bonus and the facilities in the spa were wonderful. Entertainment was available daily and recommend you watch the Oriental Show, excellent! You cannot fault the staff in all sections, they did a great job.
