We got back 2 weeks ago after spending New Year here with friends and our 16/17 year old sons. What a wonderful relaxing time was had by all! The weather was like a warm summers day in the UK, but chilly late afternoon and evening so need cardis at night. The hotel was newly opened the previous month, was lovely and clean and well looked after. Everyone was lovely and friendly and couldnt do enough for you. The food was out of this world, lots of variety and choice.
New years eve was great, a Bedouin tent was set up the buffet was amazing, had to take plenty of photos of the food displays, the hard work that had been put in by the staff was unbelievable.
The spa was lovely, but one note that we didnt feel was good was the fact that before a treatment they didnt take a history of any health problems etc, so they could potentially fall down there.
We returned to the UK's coldest night, snow and freezing but well rested!
Oh and also our teenage sons loved it! No girls or night clubs but have said it was one of the best holidays they've been on, probably because it made a nice change for them and there were lots of sporty things to do!
We would really consider going again especially for New Year again as its such a lovely contrast to this country!
