“5 days in paradise!!!!!”

The spent five wonderful days in this beautiful and secluded property. We had booked a garden bungalow, but due to the availability we got a free upgrade to a beach bungalow. Our bungalow was right on the beach with a gorgeous view on the brilliant turquoise Bora Bora lagoon and Mount Otemanu. The bungalow was simply appointed and featured a queen size bed and two chairs. We didn’t care about the inside, as we spent most of the day sitting on our patio or laying on a sunlounger just in front of the sea. The sand of the beach is not really nice, white and fine like in the Caribbean or the Maldives, but it didn’t really matter to us. We enjoyed the stunning views and the awesome sunsets.
We never used the pool, because we preferred swimming in the warm lagoon, even though the first twenty-thirty meters from the beach until you are inside the water, the sand feels a little bit like mud. We also loved going on the other side of the Motu where there was a beach covered with coral pebbles (not sand) and the sea was rough (Pacific Ocean).
When we arrived at Eden Beach, there was another couple on the Motu, but they left the day after and the next 4 days we were the only guests and had the whole resort just for us. Vlad, the owner, was very kind and asked us every day at breakfast what we would like to have for lunch and dinner. The food was delicious and we loved the poisson cru. We had romantic dinners sitting right on the edge of the water and when my boyfriend had his birthday he prepared a special dessert.
Vlad took us by boat to a special place to snorkel. We didn’t see many fishes, but the water was crystal clear and it was wonderful to swim. The transfer by boat to the airport was also perfect. We just got at the airport in time before the big rain storm.
The high price paid was well worth the experience. We had 5 days in paradise!

“Beautiful Landscape but BAD overall service”

We just spent sometimes in Tahiti and 2 nights in Bora at the Eden beach. 2 Nights was well enough to the point that we spent our second dining at the Meridien. The owner's husband was gone on holiday, the chef wasnt at work. Poor food (being in halfboard shame....) fish with only one option of sauce, dry bread, never on time for pick up (we are talking about paying transfers!)
As it is on the Motu, it is expensive (beautiful spot thought) however I would have been so crossed to spend a week there with bad service and food, would have spoilt my experience.
Don't try to pay cash, she has no change! Organise your bill way in advance as it takes forever to get it sorted....
I wanted to put a review as I think it is unfair for all of you that saved money and will go there expecting a good service for the money you spend....this wont be the case, would advice to book a pension and take a boat to the motu if required.
You cant swim, by the hotel or you need to walk for 20 mins to get to the deep.
Overall, it sounded like we were disturbing her more than anything else, shame, this could be such a great hotel with sympathic standard service.

If you ever wish to have a pleasant stay on a beautiful island, close to a incredible lagoon, but without a hype around - here it is! And if you have any wish upon that, Vlad+Dana do the utmost to please you.
Try to have a walk along the coastline, hire a dive, rent a car, bike or boat, or just stroll around.
It's all easy. Bruno, 'our' Captain, sails you everywhere you like.

“Hotel that makes your dreams true”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2011

If your dream is visiting of Earth's Eden, but your financial situation is not so great and you are not ready to pay 1000$ per day for accomodation with facilites like TV, AC, personal refrigerator, big boat shuttle, big pool, running track with personal trainer etc, - this hotel is for you. You will find there all you really need at this paradise - perfect service, superb cuisine, big choice of fresh fish and meat, old vine, white sands, warm water like in a big personal pool, and most impresive - hospitaliy of hotel owners - Vlada and Dana - and you also find total absence of problems. If you are a diver and deciding to have dives with a local dive centre, it should be not necessary to pay for dives at dive-centre - Vlada includes this bill in common paymnent for accomodation. I stricly advise to book HB or AI meal plan, because hotel food is above of all estimates. Of course you will find also a good food on the island, but it is difficult to convince yourself to go there as often as you want to have a dinner. Bloody's Marry is exception, but you will not be able to visit this place every day due to limit possibility of booking this place. Some visitors has no meal plan at the hotel and prefer to cook themselves, but what they are doing at Bora-Bora? I really thankfull to Vlada for everything I got at Eden Beach, because thaks to him and his price policy I visited this remarkable place where I wanted to come back.
