“Exactly how it looks.. wonderful!”

Right from the start, the Hilton Bora Bora was amazing. After being picked up in the hilton Yacht from the airport, to the Welcome drink and relaxing check in. We did not wait very long at all to be taken to our overwater bungalow. A fantastic and amazing suite, well worth saving our pennies for. The suite itself was superb, the bathroom was huge! The best part, the large amounts of tropical fish right beneath our suite that loved to come with a sprinkling of bread crumbs. Absolutely amazing facilities to stay in. The spa staff were amazing, particularly Poeta, the receptionist at the spa.
We were greatful there were dvds to borrow from the front desk for evenings as it was quiet. We really enjoyed having breakfast by canoe and also taking a half day snorkelling tour and swimming with sharks and rays.
We truly hope we can save up enough to go back again!

Room Tip: We really enjoyed having the overwater bungalow in the section over by the restaurants. I think we h...

The room was amazing but much better snorkelling at the Hilton Moorea.
Also the Hilton Moorea has a coffee table window to the sea and a la carte breakfast.

You are not on the island of Bora Bora, you are on the atoll 10 minutes from Bora Bora. The launch that used to take you for free now cost 7 Francs during the day and 15 Francs after 6. You have no options for breakfast, you have to pay 71 Francs which equals roughly $100 for a buffet breakfast for two, al la carte is not offered. Water is no longer placed in the room at turn down which means you must buy water from the only game in town which is the hotel or spend the money you would save to take the launch to town.

“Absolute Perfection”

This resort epitomizes tranquility in Paradise. The staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. From the beautiful lei greeting at the airport, to the boat transfer, welcome drink on arrival & effortless check-in - our every need was catered for. The rooms are spectacular and very spacious with magnificently appointed, gigantic bathrooms & tastefully decorated bedrooms in rich wooden tones, with four poster mosquito-net king beds. Golf buggies were always readily available to transport us around the resort (if required), as the resort is quite large. There is a good selection of food from the room service menu and we found it to be quite reasonably priced - even with service charge (around $75 for 3 including starter, main & dessert). Breakfast was very nice & served in pleasant surroundings overlooking the magnificent lagoon & pool area. The sand floor created a relaxed atmosphere and the buffet had a diverse selection of hot/cold options. You could also order from a set menu and the only fault was that the "made to order eggs Benedict" was hard every day even though we ordered our eggs "softly" poached. If the restaurant food is not to your liking, the resort offers a complimentary hourly ferry service to the main town of Vaitape which is 5 minutes away by boat. From there, you can eat at the local restaurants or go to the supermarket & stock up on supplies which is a cheaper option. The mini-bar at the resort is sensored, so be sure to take note if removing items & re-stocking. If relaxation, absolute peace & privacy is required, then look no further than this beautiful, picturesque resort. Try to travel from August through October when there is less rain & humidity.

Room Tip: Overwater bungalows are sublime but beach bungalows are also very nice & spacious with a bit mor...

“Absolutely Amazing!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012 via mobile

My husband and i went for our 20th wedding anniversary and had an amazing time. The over the water bungalows were spacious and decorated nicely. The entire hotel staff was very friendly. The beaches were spectacular. There were not a lot of people around so it felt very secluded. I will definitely be coming back soon.

“Relaxing Stay”

We recently had a 4 day stay in an over water bungalow at the resort. The bungalow we were in (124) was very beautifully finished with a very large and luxurious bathroom. It is right at the end of the boardwalk so was very private and quite. Although the whole resort was very quite, January being their rainy season. The grounds are beautiful and the sand exquisite. While we were there there were only two restaurants open. One for breakfast lunch and dinner the other for dinner only. They were both good but not exceptional. We did do one foray to town to dine at Bloody Mary's which was fun. If it is only R&R you are looking for this is a great stay with friendly staff. If you need a little more stimulation a resort on the main Island might be the answer.
