Having just arrived in Ashburton before getting married there, we were delighted to be directed to this motel by the I-site visitor centre. On arrival we were greeted with a complimentary coffee and settled into our room.The manageress was extremely helpful in sorting out an appointment with an emergency dentist for us and altogether, nothing was too much trouble for her. The room was very clean and spacious and had everything we needed and more.
We would not hesitate in reccommending this motel.

This motel is quite good I should say. I was very pleased with my stay there before heading to Christchurch Airport the next day. Distance to the Christchurch International Airport approx. 1 hours drive.

This motel provides a very cozy environment for a good sleep. Sufficient parking spaces. Extremely welcoming hospitality and extremely helpful. You're allowed to cook, but not curries, and fishy stuffs..which is very fair.

I would stay in this motel again and again. This is a perfect motel to stay if you don't want to book the hotels in Christchurch City.

A nice, clean hotel with a lovely flower garden. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful – she even made us coffee upon checking in. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and it looked like there were plenty of spare pillows and blankets. I didn’t realize there would be a hot plate and mini fridge in our room which was a pleasant surprise. We ordered the room service breakfast and the plates of food that arrived were massive! Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Extremely helpful owners, even paid for a courier to return our laptop which we left at the hotel by mistake. Nothing was too much trouble, they even called to check we had received the package. Would stay here every time. Don't worry about the hotels next door, go straight to this one, excellent service, great price on room (turned up without booking).
