We've just returned from Sedir and were very sad to leave indeed! Saying goodbye to the lovely Tarhan family was quite difficult as they were such a warm family, who engage with you when you want them to but give you lots of space too, making people feel very welcome and relaxed. Our boys (7 and 9) were delighted by the two teenage sons, who played with them and made them feel special. The place is beautiful, set with a backdrop of wonderful mountains and trees and a permanent blue sky. If you like wildlfe, you are very likely to spot the odd stork flying around, or bats coming home to roost, and interesting to see the turtles at the local beach, which, by the way is beautiful and untouched, with sufficient facilities to be able to stay all day.
It would be so easy to just stay around the pool all day and evening, (running up a huge bar bill, which we did!) although there are lots of trips to do, as well as other restaurants to visit in the town. There is plenty of opportunity to be sociable if you want to be, but also easy to keep to yourself as it is peaceful and uncrowded.
The boys want to go back next year and have declared it their favourite holiday ever!
