“One of the Best Holidays I ever Had”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 August 2010

As soon as you walk into the hotel, you feel the energy. The location is perfect - quiet, mountains in the background, beach a short distance away. The staff are wonderful, all lovely, helpful people who really make you feel part of the family. This is a small, family hotel running Yoga Holidays throughout the year, but you can stay without Yoga too! The pool is amazing, food is the best in Turkey, great music, beautiful cool, breezy treehouse to hang out in, as well as lots of hammocks. The hotel has its own orchard and fruit trees are everywhere. If you go on a Yoga Holiday, you will make good friends for life. A really good option for single female travellers. I have been back 3 times now ...ENJOY!!!

“Perfect family run hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 August 2010

I've just come back from a yoga holiday, and have to say that Grenadine Lodge is a wonderful place. The rooms are pleasant, with excellent vegetarian food, and a lovely pool. The hotel is 2 mins drive from Dalyan village, and set in a great location, amongst pomegranete and lime trees.

Aygul runs the hotel with her mother, and is the perfect host. There is a family atmosphere in the hotel, and the staff are very attentive to your needs. The food was great, a delicious vegetarian buffet, with fresh food grown locally, with herbs from the hotel garden. You can lie in the hammock all day and play with Tintin, the cute kitten, or relax in the treehouse and drink mint tea.

You can also get beauty treatments, (I had a pedicure and manicure under the treehouse), and lifts to the Turkish baths or to lovely local restaurants, if you prefer to eat outside. Just ask Aygul for anything, she booked us into the baths, and a nearby restaurant for dinner, and they come and pick you up for your meal or bath, and take you back to the hotel after it's finished.

There's also lots to do in Dalyan. As part of our yoga group, we took a boat trip to 5 little islands, and also a beautiful moonlight boat trip to the mud and thermal baths. The food is very nice, as Dalyan is not too developed, and the Turks are very friendly and witty people.

Dalaman airport is about 30 mins away, so I definitely recommend this hotel. I'll be coming back next year!

“Friendly Family hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 August 2010

I came to Grenadine Lodge for a yoga holiday and loved it. It's a beautiful quiet (unless there are noisy children there which, unfortunately there were when we were there. This was only unexpected as we were on a yoga break, and the hotel can't be held responsible for parents who can't control their kids! In fact they did their best to be diplomatic about the situation and I've fed back to the yoga tour operator about the noise and noting on their site that there may be children at the hotel) place which is lovely and clean and very friendly. With aircon, a fridge and an en suite, the rooms were comfortable and just what I needed. The pool area was lovely (plenty sunloungers, shades and seats) and drinks and snacks can be bought there all day. The food is well priced and is DELICIOUS - the cooks are fantastic - , the drink prices are slightly on the pricey side for spirits but comparable to places in Dalyan itself. There's also the lovely tree house to chill out in if you're feeling solitary.

We didn't actually walk into Dalyan (too hot!) but the drive there took only 5 mins and it's a very nice little town! If you get a chance, go for Hammam - it's amazing. I'd also recommend the Moonlight boat/bbq trip to the mudbaths - this was amazing and fantastic value. The Saturday market is worth a look about but, essentially, fully of fake tat.

If it's windy, I'd suggest taking the boat, rather than the bus, to the local beach as the breeze whips up the sand quite viciously and it's no fun being there in a breeze (I was head to toe covered in sand within 2 mins - ouch!). At least if you take the boat you have a nice boat trip to enjoy!

In short, this is a lovely hotel with wonderful friendly staff and delicious food and, if there aren't noisy types there during your visit, it's tranquil perfection!

“Paradise Found”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 July 2010

I stayed here for a week and had the most memorable holiday ever. Although it was initially a yoga holiday, i couldn't believe how wonderful the food, staff and my surrounds would be. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and i left looking forward to a return visit. I have been lucky to visit many hotels worldwide but this ticked all the boxes. Its calmess quietness and friendliness makes it the ideal place to destress and relax. I think i have found my little piece of paradise on earth and would certainly return with or without the yoga, great place to relax but near enough to go into the town should you wish.

“An ideal yoga location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 July 2010

You couldnt ask for more here, lovely family run business.
Amazing food, the best I have ever eaten abroad if not anywhere. Healthy Vegetarian menu with the option for meat if you want. Alternatives also for various allergies. No request is too big.
Cleanest rooms i have ever slept in.
The yoga space was tranquil and the perfect enviroment to do daily practice. Pool- beautiful.
Outdoor space is ideal as the area is very quite, hammocks a plenty and a beauitful tree house.
All round a must see yoga retreat vacation spot. Amazing therapists also availble for massage/ waxing/manicure and pedicure. What more could you want.
