This was quite a find. Wonderful hotel, very hard to find a fault. The staff were not only friendly, they were generous. Nothing was too much trouble. Walking distance to town centre and old town. You won't regret staying here. The Joke's on you if you don't.

There's really nothing of significance to critique about this "hidden little gem" ; the rooms are immaculately clean / furniture, decor & fixtures are almost new, completely functional & meticulously kept (a rarity in these and many parts) / a beautiful structure & (small) grounds / all modern amenities are provided / location, while not ideal, is within a very short walking distance to all the sights / staff (I met) were very personable & multilinqual (English capable) / there's a very convenient little "quickie-mart" within 25 steps, and, while I did not take advantage of it during this visit, there's a (well regarded) restaurant conveniently-attached.
Especially given it's condition and offerings, the Pensiunea Joker is priced below (much lesser) options directly within the Citadel, and, or any "hotel" which would even come close to such an excellent appraisal.

Very nice pension in Sigishoara !!

Very well located, just five minutes walking from the citadel.

The owner very friendly and helpful.

We were given the room (number 1) close to reception. Just as clean and nice as the photographs seen in the Internet web page.

Simple room but with a nice queen bed, everything very clean, tv and cupboard and good and clean bathroom.

Price was really good for Sigishoara (17€ per person per night) and the convenient location and good rooms make it a very suitable and RECOMMENDED option for anyone who visits the town !!

I had a wonderful stay at the Pensiunea Joker while travelling through Romania this month. The hotel room had a private, immaculate bathroom with tub and shower. The room was simply furnished with table, chairs, night stands (with lamps), and an armoire with the TV. The sheets were crisp and clean and the bed was firm enough to provide a great nights sleep. The room was not air conditioned (in the mountains of Romania that is not needed- just crack the window). My room had a skylight that opened, ample towels, and I couldn't find fault with anything regarding the cleanliness (yes, I looked!). The room was very affordable at 27 Euros- 100 lei (Romanian)- $36 a night. Breakfast was not included but was $5-7 at the adjacent restaurant. Both of my hosts spoke sufficient English. My room was upstairs and overlooked the courtyard area. The room was very quiet and I awoke to roosters crowing in the distance. The walkways were surrounded by blooming flowers. It was evident to me that the owners took great pride in their hotel. The location was also good, as it was two blocks from the citadel (the well-preserved medieval center of Sighisoara). When I return to Romania, I will stay at the Joker whenever I am in Sighisoara.
