Situated just 5 minutes from Lighthouse beach, Greenshore made our first stay in Kovalam and Kerala, really excellent. Everyone there was friendly. The room was clean and spacious with a fan and air-conditioning. Rooms were cleaned regularly and the rooftop terrace provided nice breakfast and coffee, beach restaurants are really close for evening meals. The managers were really helpful and helped us to find a driver for the rest of our stay in Kerala. Thanks!

Our entire experience at Kovalam was excellent, thanks in a large part to the Greenshore Apartments. The British owners and their local staff are friendly and helpful; the local staff even swiftly dismissed our auto driver who hounded us all the way to the hotel for more money.

The room had a TV, ample hot water and a large balcony with super comfortable chairs to take in the sea view. The property's location is also fantastic, 5 minutes walk to a deserted, pristine swimming beach, 5 minutes to the restaurant strip at Lighthouse beach and set back just far enough from the road that the noise didn't reach the rooms. It's also worth noting that one of the few general stores (water, snacks, chai, etc) in Kovalam is right at the front entrance of the hotel, so you're never in need of anything.

In short; a perfect experience that is completely worth the relatively steep (by Indian standards) price.

From picking us up at 5am to great location and quiet room, The Greenshore ticks all our boxes. Furnishings are simple but rooms are spacious. Second floor recommended for views. Friendly, helpful staff. Look forward to returning.

As I came to India by myself and wanted to spend some relaxing time on my own before my onward travelling, this place really was a very good choice for me: I felt comfortable and safe in my nice and absolute clean room; I could have a good privacy there, but at the same time I could be sure, someone is there if there is any need (for example, there was an appointment arranged with an extraordinary good, nice and cheap dentist, as a problem occurred ...). Especially I liked the staff working there, they were really friendly from their heart at any time!
