We were on a business trip and my client booked us into this hotel because it was near their factory. We were lucky to have our client check us into the room because English was not really spoken. When we walked into our room it was dark and cold. We tried to find a thermostat to turn up the heat, but there wasn't one. The carpet was dirty, the bed was extremely hard. We did have a nice view overlooking Swan Lake. The strangest part about the room was instead of a mini bar there were men & women packaged underwear and sexual products. We didn't feel comfortable (mainly because we were cold) to sleep without any clothing on. The room included breakfast, which looked interesting, but we didn't want to get sick so we really didn't eat anything but bread. After breakfast we walked around Swan Lake, which is quite pretty. Besides the outdoor beauty, we would not stay here again. It was too scary. Instead of having my client book us a room (which I am sure they had all good intentions) we will book our own room when we return to Tianjin.
