The stay was very comfortable. The host Valarie served us with freshly made ginger pies for breakfast. She also recommended the some of the local attractions. We had a great time at Hatcher Pass. The garden surrounding the B&B is full of colorful flowers.

We stayed at the Cookie Jar Gardens B&B just outside Palmer, Alaska late August and it couldn't have been better. Every morning there was fresh baked goods, fruit and a hearty breakfast. Every evening a delicious plate of cookies.
The lady that runs the B&B, Valerie was one of the nicest people I've ever met and a very gracious host. Her garden with pathways and fish pond were just beautiful.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cookie Jar Gardens B & B. We appreciated being able to e-mail our family & friends. We found the guest room to be immaculate & enjoyed having the use of a family room & small kitchenette
with a small dining area where we enjoyed our very hearty breakfasts & evening homemade goodies. The bed was so comfortable we wanted to bring it back home with us! Valerie & her granddaughter showed us wonderful hospitality & we enjoyed Rudy the friendly lab as well. Her gardens are really beautiful too & such a peaceful setting just outside of Palmer. Valerie is a terrific baker & made us feel very much at home. We relaxed at night by watching videos before bed. We would highly recommend the Cookie Jar Gardens B & B.

Looking for a place to relax and still be within an easy drive of Anchorage or the glaciers? The Cookie Jar Garden, surrounded by colorful gardens and ponds, is just outside Palmer in a tranquil, relaxing setting. Our room, complete with fresh cut flowers, was very clean and quiet; and the bed very comfortable. An ample delicious continental breakfast of various fresh fruits, juice, coffee and home-made pastries (the scones are a special treat) is a perfect way to start your day. Valerie, assisted by Rudy her very well behaved and friendly lab), is a gracious hostess and was especially helpful in helping us choose and find the sites and activities we were interested in. Spend some time relaxing in the garden and watching the birds. This B&B offers excellent value and we heartily recommend it. J and J, New Mexico.
