“Nice, comfy stay”

We had two nights here. Our large room was clean with a very nice view over the water. A continental breakfast was laid out the night before in a dining area, so you could get up and eat whenever you wished. It is about a twenty minute walk from downtown, we didn't have a car and were happy to walk, but be warned the B and B is perched on top of a very steep but short hill. There was a good selection of eating places fairly close by, dont necessarily head into town to eat, we had a couple of good meals in the other direction along the main road in places overlooking the water. Theres also a good pizza place nearby if you want to eat in with a beer (bar next to the pizza place). Check with the owners, there was a directory of local eateries there. All in all, a nice comfy, convenient place to stay

“Captain's Quarters Worked for Us!”

This B&B is located a little up the hill, just above the farthest north of the four cruise ship berths in Ketchikan. It has a great view of the harbor. This is a great location if you're okay with walking up and down a hill to get to and from the B&B to get into town. We were fine with the walking, so we loved it. The breakfast is a continental breakfast; the hostess left it out the night before, so we could help ourselves when we were ready. We also were allowed to make our own coffee; there were supplies available for either regular or decaf. As previously mentioned, by others, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. The nice large room allowed us to relas between outings.

The innkeeper was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and light, and we could walk most everywhere we wanted to go. I would definitely go back.

Captain's Quarters was a welcome retreat after a long day. The room was large, clean, wonderful bed, clean bathroom, everything you need. Good breakfast. Owner was very friendly - ready to give any information we asked for. Room had wi-fi if you had your own computer.
