Advertised as a boutique hotel but found it to be more a travel back in time to rural 1890s. The boutiques I have stayed in were more modern and while simple would have been higher quality. Bed comforter looked worn and tired. Clean room but felt like I was staying in the attic of an old home. Staff is friendly and responsive; not on site during the night but you have to call them. 6 rooms in the actual hotel. Walked three blocks to restaurant for breakfast as their cafe was being remodeled but was not told that when I made the reservation. As a female often traveling alone I chose this because it has its own breakfast cafe.
