We recently spent two nights at Best Western - Grandma’s in Juneau (near the airport). We were thoroughly delighted with the very clean accommodations. Surprisingly, and contrary to most inns, Grandma’s actually had lighting that was sufficient for reading, as well as electrical outlets for rechargers.
The staff (especially Pam) was cheerful, efficient and helpful. For even a minor inconvenience, Pam quickly offered a compensatory dinner (which I declined because the problem itself did not warrant the offer). Her action, however, is indicative of Grandma’s concern about their patrons.
Food was excellent. A full breakfast (complimentary) was included . Lunch and dinner are also served; our dinner was very good.
Their van makes regular complimentary trips to the airport and the downtown area.
When we return to Juneau, overnight accommodations will be at Grandma’s.

We stayed at Grandma's Feather Bed in July, 2011. The room was large,the bed was comfortable and the food was terrific. I highly recommend this place. The breakfast was probably the best we had in any bed and breakfast we have visited. We also ate dinner there and enjoyed it. I only wished I had asked for a lower bed. Our bed was so high off the ground we needed steps to get into it. This made me a little nervous.

Like a B & B but it's a best western. Beautiful rooms, very comfortable beds. The comlimentary breakfast is amazing. Don't miss the blueberry pancakes!

We travel a lot, and finding a hotel that combines value and luxury is rare.

The room is comfortable, unique, and the bed is relaxing. We were able to stay there, and have a crib for our son, without feeling cramped.

Breakfast is included in the room - and it is a made to order breakfast, not the typical "breakfast included."

The bathtub was an amazing way to relax after a long trip- I forgot about how nice a bath was!

The hotel is located close to the airport and the ferry terminal- a great place for someone who flies out. A shuttle will take you downtown - ten miles away.
