“Best place to stay in Juneau”

My girlfriends and I rented out the Capital Inn last week and we couldn't have a more wonderful experience. Linda and Mark are amazing hosts- very warm and welcoming. The breakfasts were homemade and out of this world. Linda was happy to accommodate our schedule and vegetarian needs. The Inn has a wonderful vibe and was very cozy and comfortable. The rooms are all unique and historic but offering all the modern amenities. Each evening we enjoyed cheese and crackers with wine. It felt like coming home every night.

“Outstanding Inn in Juneau Alaska”

The Capital Inn Bed and Breakfast has it all - location, accommodations, food and hosts! Located right next to the capital it is easy to walk to anything in downtown Juneau. The breakfasts are plentiful and delicious. Linda even made us sack breakfasts for our very early flight and served an early breakfast when we had an early boat trip. There is a great hot tub in a delightfully landscaped back yard, a variety of rooms from which to choose and a comfortable living room for relaxing. And then of course there was Duffy who made everyone his friend.

Room Tip: Go for the third floor suite, it is worth it

“You will love it.”

I haved stayed at the Capital Inn a number of times, and always call Linda & Mark first whenever I go to Juneau. The accommodations are so delightfully comfortable, and the hosts are so delightfully hospitable. This turn-of-the-century home (the last century!) has been lovingly and meticulously restored to its original grandeur by the owners, and every detail is authentic. The bedrooms are good-sized, with extremely comfortable linens and everything you could possibly need. The served breakfast is always delicious, with dessert, to boot! The location is easy walking distance to everything in downtown.

“Great stay at the Alaska Capital Inn”

We just returned from a lovely stay at the Alaska Capital Inn which has a great location off the main drag in Juneau. We only met Linda as Mike was traveling, and she was so warm and wonderful to be around. She really made us feel at home in their beautifully restored turn of the century home. Our room was on the second floor and had a great comfy bed and a lovely bathroom with a clawfoot tub. The inn provides many amenities and a delicious breakfast. Don't miss this special treasue in downtown Juneau.

“I felt right at home”

Alaska's Capital Inn was a beautifully decorated, comfy home owned by two wonderful hosts, Mark and Linda. It is conveniently located in the downtown area of Juneau so you can walk to the shops, museums, attractions and restaurants but it is on a quiet street away from the touristy areas. Linda and Mark were very warm and offered lots of suggestions on what to do in Juneau. Our room, Viola's room, was nicely decorated with a comfy bed, a simple clean bathroom with a claw foot tub and a TV. Linda cooked a very tasty breakfast and on the day we had an early flight to Gustavus, she packed us a goodie bag with a tasty assortment of breakfast items. If you go, try the wonderful ceder hot tub.
