Stayed here in 2005, 2008 and 2010 and on all occasions stayed in Room 22. The rooms are basic but clean, and we liked our room because it's separated away from the main building which is the pub, and is on the edge of the property.
Catch Hyder on a lovely day and the views in this area are outstanding - from the drive down (bear glacier), to bear creek (lucky enough to see bears catching salmon) to Salmon Glacier (amazing views you actually drive up an old mining road and look down on the glacier).
Just love the remoteness of the place!
