We arrived and were given a complementary plate of smoked salmon and halibut crackers, free bottle of wine, and for our anniversary, a free bottle of port and chocolates. They gave us a tour of the room and had lots of brochures about what to see and do in Homer. There were two rooms in a small cabin, but both were independent of each other. You had to go down steps to reach the room, so it was not handicapped accessible. There was a goldfish pond with a small waterfall, and we could hear the water trickling from the room. On the porch, there was a table and chairs and a grill. The kitchen had a coffee pot, hot water kettle, refrigerator, freezer, dishes, oatmeal, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cider, muffins, and fruit. The bedroom had two easy chairs, books, a large flat screen tv, two fuzzy bathrobes, a space heater, and a queen size bed. The bathroom had a large shower stall, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. In the common outdoor area, there was a hot tub, steam room, fire pit, swing set, and large lawn. The main building has a wine tasting area where you get a 10% discount. The B and B usually has a two night minimum but we timed it where they had a one night opening. Overall, this place is very quiet, relaxing, and a nice escape for a couple.
