I stayed here 1 night; had taken the late ferry from Kodiak to Homer, and there weren't many places available at the time I made my reservation. I HATED this place and would NEVER stay here again. The night clerk was nice enough, but that's the only "good" point I can make. My room was dusty and very small, the bed was very uncomfortable, there was the smell of mustiness and stale smoke. The rooms were extremely not sound proof--I heard the guy in the room above me coughing all night, and the person in the next room over tossing/turning all night (which drove me crazy). I didn't trust the linens--so I used my personal blanket/sheet and pillow (though, to be honest, I didn't look for bugs or stray hair or anything, and I am pretty paranoid about cleanliness). This probably rates as the worst hotel I have ever stayed.

We stayed in Homer for one night before going on a wildlfe cruise to Seldovia. Homer was not my favourite place to visit in Alaska so glad we only stayed one night. We loved the trip to Seldovia, a special place to visit. We dined at the fat olive which was just up the road and very good. The room itself was clean and tidy with free wireless and the bed was comfy.
There was some junk laying around out the back which you could see when looking out the window which wouldn't take much for someone at the hotel to tidy up. Breakfast was nice and had a good view.

We stayed here one night while waiting for a more desirable location,regarding price and view, for a longer stay. They had a good free breakfast and the rooms were about what we would expect for a Best Western.They only had a smoking room open by the time we arrived which was not as bad as we expected since the windows opened in the back of the room and the ground floor front door could be open until sleep time. We did enjoy our stay for the brief period.

My husband and I spent four days in this shoe box. Double queen beds but no space.
We had to talk with managers twice to get the shower to drain correctly!
It was clean...The staff was great...
