This was our first stay in the Good Karma Inn, and was truly wonderful. First we were greeted by Michael and Sophie, with a handshakes, smiles and tail wags all around(did I mention Sophie is a dog?), and we were made to immediately feel very welcome. And what a beautiful home that Michael has built. An awesome view of Kachemak Bay, spectacular artwork, and very comfy rooms. We stayed in the handicap access room, which is very user friendly. Also during our stay, we 'shared' the yard with moose, sandhill cranes, and a wonderful family of grouse, which we waited for on the driveway for about 20 minutes while mom and 4 'grouselings' finally decided to allow us to pass. Michael is very knowledgeable of the area, plus much fun to talk to about all issues great and small. We have family in Homer, and look very much to staying at the Good Karma Inn during future visits .
