These cabins are off the beaten path but conveniently close to Denali. They are very clean, carefully decorated, and the owner couldn't have been more accommodating. The small kitchen in our cabin included everything we needed (except the food) to cook meals. The owner was very helpful and even returned some medicine I had forgotten in the cabin.

We stayed here 2 nights while exploring Denali. The 1st thing I noticed when walking in the cabin was how CLEAN everything was!!! The standard cabin was small, but enough room for the 2 of us. Our cabin had a mini fridge, microwave & coffee maker, small table with 2 chairs. There was a cute little deck off the back with a couple chairs, unfortunately it was raining any time we were at the cabin so didn't get to use it. There were woods behind the cabin with an ATV trail, heard them go by a couple times but nothing that disturbed us. Was about a 10 minute drive to the shops & restaurants in Denali, a nice easy, scenic drive. Even saw a moose right next to the road just around the corner from the cabins, nice end to the day! Great place to stay at a reasonable price for the area!

We stayed at the Parks Edge Cabins for 2 nights on our visit to Denali. We chose the cabins because we did not want to stay in any of the lodges near the park. Parks Edge has 8 cabins - we stayed in one of the four smaller cabins. The accommodations were roomy, comfortable and clean. Each cabin has a small kitchen and a gas bar-BQ on patio outside. The owner was helpful when we had questions about places to eat nearby, Parks Edge even has WiFi although the signal was a bit weak at the end cabin where we were staying. If you have trouble connecting, you can always take your computer and use it in the office.

Parks Edge is a mile or so off the main highway and can be a bit tricky to find. When we reserved, we were sent instructions as to where the place was but I forgot to print them and had to call to get directions.

If you want to stay near Denali and not in one of the lodges, Parks Edge is a good and economical alternative.

We rented 3 cabins for 5 nights for 11 family members and used this as our homebase while exploring Denali National Park and interior Alaska following our cruise. The cabins were PERFECT for this purpose as the 2 Deluxe cabins had kitchenettes with a refrigerator, microwave and place settings for 6 as well as a gas grill outside. The standard cabin was a little more cozy and nice for 2 people but lacks the kitchenette facilities or grill. This worked well for us as we all cooked and ate together at the other cabins. Super CLEAN genuine log cabins in OUTSTANDING condition with nice kitchenette and bathroom facilities located in a private location about 10 miles north of the park entrance. Wi-Fi available in some cabins and at the office which Heidi makes available at any time. Heidi also is a wonderful source of information and she is very friendly and very helpful. Housekeeping in the cabins daily. Overall, a WONDERFUL value and a PERFECT homebase for a week in Alaska!!
