“Clean, Comfortable and a Good Value.”

My wife and I opted to stay at the Park's Edge for two nights while we explored Denali National Park. We stayed in one of the Standard Cabins at $99 per night. This rate was much lower than other cabins located adjacent to the park. They are located 10 miles north of the park entrance next to a golf course. We really enjoyed not being near the park entrance and the drive to the park was very nice.

The cabins were very clean and comfortable. Our favorite area was the private back porch that looked out into a naturally wooded area. The Standard Cabin was very clean and comfortable. However, it was very small and lacked any sort of dining table. We had to use the small night stand next to the bed and balance our food while sitting on the small sofa. I would have given them a 4 star rating had there been a bit more room.

I would not recommend the Standard Cabin for more than two people. The bed is set into an alcove and can only be accessed from one side. If you have mobility issues this might be a problem. Their larger cabins are more spacious and are only slightly higher in price. Overall I would stay here again if I return to the area.

Room Tip: Opt for the larger cabin if you are not used to small spaces.

“Good reviews are bang on!”

I concur with the other happy campers that have stayed here.

The cabins are clean and well maintained. The kitchens are adequate, and we used our outside propane barbecue twice.

We had two cabins, stayed two restful nights, and cabins were made up when we returned the second day. Free Wi-Fi available.

Heidi is helpful and friendly, but not intrusive.

Would definitely recommend to friends.

“Great place to stay near Denali NP”

The Park's Edge is located about 10 minutes north of the Park's Entrance, on a quiet side road that in an area that is so much more appealing than the "Glitter Gulch" directly outside the park entrance. Cabins were very cozy, attractive, modern and immaculately clean. In additon to the double bed, there was also a sofa (it might have been a fold out sleeper sofa, but I'm not sure). There's no breakfast, but my room included a microwave and a refrigerator for storing your own food, and their are outdoor grills in case you want to cook your own dinner. There was also a sliding glass door with a small deck in the back, which would have been a nice place to relax were it not for the mosquitoes. The owners, a young couple from Fairbanks, were very helpful and friendly.

We stayed for 4 nights at park edge with our 3 children and were very happy with the cabins.Denali can be an expensive place to eat and stay. The kitchenette was useful in this regard and the overal price was good value.Childen complained that there was no satelite tv, but we were happy to wean them off the box for a few days!.Found the hosts very pleasant and helpful. As others stated light could be a problem for some.

“Clean, cozy, and economical - definitely will return!”

My wife and I stayed at Parks Edge for 2 nights while visiting Denali, and had a great experience. The cabins are small but very efficiently laid out, and the bed was comfortable after long days exploring the park. We loved how quiet and peaceful the surroundings were...much different than the constant bus traffic and droves of people in higher-priced glitter gulch. Driving to Denali park entrance only took 10-15 minutes, not bad at all. Also, the owner Heide was very nice and accommodating and made us feel right at home. We highly recommend Parks Edge to anyone looking for a clean, quiet, and comfortable place to stay in the Denali area.
