My wife and I opted to stay at the Park's Edge for two nights while we explored Denali National Park. We stayed in one of the Standard Cabins at $99 per night. This rate was much lower than other cabins located adjacent to the park. They are located 10 miles north of the park entrance next to a golf course. We really enjoyed not being near the park entrance and the drive to the park was very nice.
The cabins were very clean and comfortable. Our favorite area was the private back porch that looked out into a naturally wooded area. The Standard Cabin was very clean and comfortable. However, it was very small and lacked any sort of dining table. We had to use the small night stand next to the bed and balance our food while sitting on the small sofa. I would have given them a 4 star rating had there been a bit more room.
I would not recommend the Standard Cabin for more than two people. The bed is set into an alcove and can only be accessed from one side. If you have mobility issues this might be a problem. Their larger cabins are more spacious and are only slightly higher in price. Overall I would stay here again if I return to the area.
