Really good experience, from phone interaction making reservations all the way through. I was late making reservations, so got the last two available rooms, which unfortunately were in two different cabins. John and Joyce made it easy by offering to move our stuff for us while we were at the park. Joyce also made arrangements for us to pick up breakfast goodies since our 6am shuttle meant leaving well before breakfast hour.
First cabin was a bit small, but very cozy, clean and appealing. We returned the next evening to the other cabin and found all our stuff moved as promised, and a note informing us that good Northern Lights viewing was expected that night in case we wanted to get up at 2am to see it. The second cabin was a larger 2 BR unit that was also quite nicely done.
Both were clean, fresh towels and linens, and plenty of hot water. We enjoyed breakfast at the breakfast nook the next morning, chatting with the owners learning much about their Alaska experience.
Overall great place - would definitely go back.
caveats: We had a rental car, so the distance from Denali Park entrance was not a factor for us. Also, Bing (navigation on my cell phone) didn't get the location quite right - it was a little further north. Third, it is back off the road - seemed like a mile but probably less of dirt/stone driveway. Depending on your outlook it may be part of the appeal.
Room Tip: They have different size cabins - ask Joyce to describe in more detail if you're not sure.
