Beautiful house, wonderful hosts, delicious food... can't say enough about this fantastic B&B! My family came with us to Girdwood for our wedding, and our hosts were kind enough to take care of us! I would encourage anyone visiting the area to stay here!

My husband and stayed one night at the Carriage House B & B staying in the coach room. The B & B rooms are in the lower level of home of the gracious owner and their family. A full kitchen and a sitting room are available to the guests. Our room was small but comforable, the shower was wonderful.
Breakfast was delicious, with a meat and a meat free breakfast fatata, also served was yogurt, and a homemade granola. The hosts were knowledge and very helpful in planning side trips around the area.

Spent two nights here and loved it! Hosts were friendly and helpful - great breakfasts and good conversation. Rooms were immaculate and private.

The Carriage House B & B is clean, quiet, friendly. My two night stay was enhanced by the easy, amiable conversation with other guests and our host at breakfast. The food was excellent and plentiful. We ate one large dining table in an attractive, room that featured floor-to-ceiling windows. My room featured a full bath, a small cable TV and a comfortable bed. The ground-floor rooms adjoined a den and a kitchen area with a refrigerator, a large sink, tableware and cutlery.

The b & b is a three-minute walk from two restaurants, and three miles from the Coal Creek Mine, a working gold mine that features several outbuildings, some of which date to the late 19th century. A mile below the mine, a one-mile hike takes one to Winner Creek and a rope-drawn tram across the swift-flowing creek.

I felt fortunate to have found the Carriage House Bed & Breakfast.
