We stayed at Hidden Creek for one night while driving between Denali and Homer. Ron & Michelle were gracious enough to let us do 3 loads of laundry in their fabulous new High Efficeincy machines, a lifesaver after several days of hiking and cabin living.
The Wildflower room is fresh, warm and lovely with an absolutely sumptuous bath. Linens are of the highest quality and I just sunk into the comfy bed. We loved the ability fo relax in the guest living room and help ourselves to freshly made coffee, tea and drinks.
Breakfast was gourmet with a personalized menu featuring 7 made to order choices (not counting starting with juice, coffee or tea, fruit plate and orange cranberry bread.) I chose the Whole wheat burrito filled with cilantro scrambled eggs, tri-color peppers, reindeer sausage & pepper jack cheese. Stunning! My husband opted for the Buttermilk pancakes with wild Alaskan blueberries and a side of reindeer sausage. He loved every bite. Michelle prepared a lovely meal in spite of having her arm in a cast!
Conversation around the breakfast table with our hosts and other guests was lively and fun. Michelle and Ron gave us a good recommendation for dinner and even provided coupons in the room for local attractions. We never felt rushed and were well taken care of.
An immaculate, high end bed and breakfast worth every penny.
