Cute little hostel and very clean. The staff was very friendly and the price very reasonable. My only beef was that the only other "private room" had only a flannel sheet for the door, and naturally that wouldn't "close" all the way. The doorway faces the entrance/sitting room/kitchen. The downstairs light is positioned right outside the door as well, so you can imagine what the lighting situation was like....It got loud when the three other people staying in the hostel got home from work and decided to sit down for a little chat, for about an hour. Granted, they were trying to be quiet, but when 3 people sit outside your door, carry on a conversation and microwave hot water for tea, you can guess how loud it gets. Not only that, but they were ignoring the 'lights out after 1200 am' courtesy-esque sign, the proprietor had put up. The other private room did have a door, so maybe that would be better if you can reserve it....
