My partner stayed for one week and had a great time. Resort is simple, but more than adequate. Our room, number 11, was big, airy and very private. Our balcony overlooked the lagoon. We compared this to our friend's accomodation at the 'fancy' Ratotangan and deduced that we got the bargain.
The staff, especially Na-na, were delightful and helpful.
Castaways is suited for couples and for those who don't want to spend all of their time at the Resort. It is very laid-back, but that makes it homey.
Food was excellent and the cocktails were fun.
There are plenty of Roosters around to keep you awake, but this is par for the whole island.
We found the snorkelling to be much better than at the Rarotongan or Muri. No crowds and very accessible.
