The hotel was very nice, they had a spa, bar and restaurant and everything was clean. The Rooms were quite spacious too. Though walking around at night (even at times during the day) didn't always feel safe in San Jose, the hotel hat security at the door at all times which was nice and locked the gates where you parked. Great for the price, especially if you want to be within walking distance of alot of the city.

Good news: Very nice rooms , great service and family oriented.
Bad news: The bar/ restaurant on the walking promenade has been closed for good to be replaced by a cell phone store. The bar and restaurant are now part of the lobby and though adequate leave something to be desired.
For couples and families just needing a nice room it great.

We had a wonderful time at Hotel Presidente.All the staff were very helpful and went out of their way to be helpful.We loved the location being right on Central Ave.The rooms were very nice.We would return here in a heartbeat if we ever went back to San Jose.Loved it for it's perfect location!

I was only here one night and stayed in the jacuzzi suite. It was awesome. Staff was great. Location was key to being able to walk around to most of the attractions and this place is right in the middle of it all. FOOD WAS AMAZING at this hotel, probably best meal I had all trip. Only bad thing was the noise from the busy streets and the train honking but I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
