We stayed at Casa El Dorado for 3 nights. It was overall one of the best accomodations we have experienced, and by far was the highlight of San Jose. The beds were luxurious and we loved the jacuzzi bath! Not only were our hosts helpful and friendly, but they went above and beyond our expectations in making sure that our trip went smoothly. We wholeheartedly recommend the Casa El Dorado!!!

The property is exquisite.
The owner/operators, husband, wife and daughter, are friendly and very attentive.
The room we stayed in--mini suite--was very comfortable and had a large bathroom and jacuzzi "built for two"!!
We found the accommodations very relaxing and romantic.
Situated almost at the top of the mountain, there is an incredible view from the terrace of the central valley and San Jose.
Breakfasts were substantial and fresh.
Overall--My wife and I truly enjoyed our short stay very much. We will be back soon.

Thisisby far the best B&B we ever stayed at. The view is unbeatable, the breakfast delicous andthe hosts are helpful in every aspecti. Close to the city and yet in a perfect country setting.This is a great place to stay when visiting the Central Valley.

If there is a paradise it is Costa Rica, and if there is place to relax and see this paradise, it is Casa El Dorado. A very nice atmosphere and the owners, Axel and Pamela are great hosts. They can book any excursion in Costa Rica you can dream up. The rooms are very comfortable and the view from the property over looking San Jose is truly amazing. I look forward to coming back next year!
