We stayed three nights here as it is only a short 7 km ($0.50 U.S.) bus trip to Manuel Antonio Park. The bus runs every half hour from the bus station that is only 3 short blocks away. This is the first hotel in 6 weeks of travelling in Nicaragua and Costa Rica that was essentially full every night - a good indication of its popularity. It is a good location and only half a block from the promenade overlooking the harbor - good spot to watch the sunsets. The hotel has closed circuit television and a night watchman so security is good. The breakfast is good. It is frequented by many tourists with good selection of restaurants and bars nearby. It is on a quiet street with a bakery across the street. The staff were helpful and speak English.
