I always try and add new information when writing my reviews. Everything that guests have raved about in previous reviews is 100% true and then some. I started a list of names of the staff that i felt were superb but quickly realised that my list was including everyone that worked there. My husband and I stayed for 7 nights in a rainforest suite. Truly heaven, One of the luxuries I found here was a walk in closet for our belongings. How many times do you go to a resort and your luggage is spread all over because of lack of storage..well not here. The bedding was also something else ..if you love a pillow top bed with absolutely amazingly soft white sheets then look no farther. Now comes the part that no traveller wants to have happen...in the middle of the night my husband woke up with his foot just a throbbing. On inspection I realised that he had got an infection in his foot from an unattended blister. We went up to reception at 1:30am and found the night staff to be Red Cross Certified! They cleaned and dressed his infected foot as we would have expected from a hospital back home. They were amazing...In the morning they immediately contacted the doctor and made arrangements to have us transported to the medical centre for treatment ( we could have had the doctor come to the resort but chose to go to the doctor instead) The doctor was amazing, she spoke excellent english and we were taken care of immediately. They arranged for a taxi to take us to the pharmacy to fill the prescription and then back to the resort in next to no time. We booked our vacation through Costa Rica Vacations .com and couldn't have been happier. We chose to take the ground transportation from the airport to the resort and were really glad we did. Our driver both on the way to the resort and on the way back stopped to show us interesting sights and pointed out many interesting facts on the way. We really felt like we got a insightful perspective of this most beautiful country and it's people. We both highly recommend the canopy tour zip lining booked through the hotel and can't say enough about it. My suggestion is don't bother taking your camera because they have a photographer on site that will document your entire zipline experience for you for a very low price of $20 per person. They also deliver it straight to your hotel so you don't need to carry extra cash for it. You will learn much about the history of the banana and palm oil plantations along the way and as well visit a butterfly and snake enclosure while you are there. This hotel is truly a hidden gem and you must experience it once in your life...if you have a "bucket list" please make sure this place is on it. Please don't hesitate to contact me for further information on this holiday.
