“Best place in Costa Rica”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 January 2012

This is hands down one of the best hostels in the world. Conrad is a rad host and the atmosphere here is amazing, not to mention the view. They are super helpful with everything from booking tours to transportation, and its even a great place to just chill. Definately a spot for the younger crowd, everyone kicks it on the main balcony at night. Book it in advance, it fills up pretty quickly. But if you are coming to Manuel Antonio, this is definately the spot to be.

“SO GOOD.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 January 2012

The best hostel we stayed at in Costa Rica on our trip... you simply can't beat the view while lying on a hammock for the sunsets.

Perfect place to relax and chill out during the days and get together with great folks during the night.

The restaurant serves some AWESOME nachos.
Staff was really friendly and really helpful in booking all of our tours in the area.

The dorm we stayed in was clean, but it was right next to the TV area... which happened to be really loud at night -- needless to say the sleep wasn't always the best. BUT the view in the morning was kind of worth it.

Beach was a 35 min walk away or the bus was only like 6 min ride.
I would definitely recommend this place to everyone... unless you're just looking for a nice peaceful place to catch some ZzzZ then you might wanna look elsewhere.

Room Tip: Paying the extra $5 for air conditioner-- totally worth it.

“Awesome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 January 2012

Great place to meet others who are doing the same thing that you are doing. It has an amazing view of the ocean from the deck/patio where you can enjoy it from your hammock or table. A good restauran and the staff was really helpful in helping me figure out what I was going to do next.

“great hostel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 December 2011

This is a great place for young people to meet and hang out. My wife and I were exhausted after climbing Mt Chirripo and stayed in one of the bungalows for 3 days. View was incredible, and we had our own kitchen to cook and relax in. I can see how people looking for quiet might not love this place, but I thought it was nice hearing everyone socializing and having a good time. Only surprise was that the bungalow says "shared bathroom" but its actually a shared bathroom, living room and kitchen. Luckily, our roommates were great and we had a lovely time. Close to plenty of restaurants and the park entrance

“Positive Experience”

This is a great hostel for those on a budget. INCREDIBLE view overlooking the ocean, on-site restaurant, free wi-fi, towels/linens included, communal kitchen, and a great staff make it a great choice. The shower in the bathroom was full of sand and the floor was wet, but... it's a ~$10-13/night hostel where most people spent the whole day at the beach. If you can't handle a little sand, maybe you picked the wrong destination to begin with!

Room Tip: The 4-bed dorms are right off the lobby/kitchen/hangout area. It wasn't an issue the nights I st...
