We stayed here our last night in Costa Rica. The sign outside said $60-70 per night. We were quoted $133 when we checked in. Expedia had them listed at $113 per night on my iPhone app. When I showed that to the front desk, they said they could not match the price and I would have to book online. So, I did and we checked in. We were in Room 201. Checked out the hotel "gym" which was only three different cardio machines, one of each--treadmill, bike, recumbent. Not really a gym to me, but, whatever, I can run outside. Room was quiet, great temp, and clean. Shower had great pressure. Checkout was super fast. Recommend this place if you want someplace quick to get into in and out of during a stay in Jaco. Oh, very near the beach as well, but we were in town property shopping and did not go to the beach this night. Pool area looks very nice as well. Seemed to be a lot of kids running around, so def a more family oriented property. Another weird thing about this place is all the rooms had a double and single bed, no rooms had a queen or king size bed. normally, this would have turned me away from the property, but I was tired after a long day of property searching and driving, so we said whatever.

I stayed on this hotel for the weekend on June 10-12 with my wife and 9 year-old son. The check-in was done in about 5 min-- I checked-in at 5:30 PM- The room was on the fourth floor which worked very well since we had a nice view from the balcony of our room. The room is a bit dated but well-kept. Our Air conditioning's remote stopped working and within 15 minutes of my initial call, the maintenance guy showed up and fix it up. The restaurant's service was outstanding and all waiters/waitresses really care about you. I was on a dining plan which covered the three main meals of the day. Friday night I was surprised by an a-la-carte dinner. It was more crowed on Saturday, so the meals were buffet and the taste and service were still great. On Sunday, the occupation fell so it was again a la carte and the food was still delicious. The room was kept clean every day and whenever we needed more towels, they were prompt to deliver to our room. All in all it was a very satisfactory and relaxing stay with special Kudos to all of the staff. The only cons I could think of is that we had a noisy neighbor but the staff knocked on his door to ask him to reduce the noise. Also, the pool needs some repair and maintenance. I--actually my son-- was the first one to be at the pool at 7:30AM and we could see some dead insects and crabs although it was supposed to be open to the public at 6:30AM.

Excellent choice if you want to stay close to the beach, tourist attractions and a small town with restaurants and amusements. Nice swimming pool, garden area and bar. Great food for breakfast and dinner (buffet style) if more rooms are occupied, should you come in low season don´t expect too much. Extremely helpful and friendly staff everywhere except at reception/front desk. Booking desk for shuttles/transfers and tours in hotel lobby.

All you need is around you including the bus station, but beware of the stony beach, not nice.
