Great place / quiet location / good breakfast / clean

Because of the reviews I had read I thought it was going to be a great hotel. Well, for me it wasn,t.
The positives: the beach location is the best in Jaco, very clean and less crowded. Has a nice pool, restaurant and friendly staff.
The negatives: I stayed in room #1 and it had a water leakage in the bathroom under the sink, we found out the next morning when all the bathroom was flooded. The pillow cases smelled so terrible I had to sleep without pillows. There's only parking for 4 cars, we were #5 so we had to park behind a car and every time someone was going out we had to go move our car.
Maybe it was bad luck, but I just wouldn't risk going back, for $90 per night you can get a better place in Jaco.

Went in the off season 10/4-10/7. Room prices were fantastic for what we got. Free surf board for every guest to use when you want, also a free surf lesson if needed. Far enough off the beaten path to get away from town when you want. Right on the beach. Hotel staff was, well I can't say enough about how great they were. They even did our laundry for us(tip was given for this service). View was breath taking every moment. Didn't eat on location due to wanting to try local foods. Being from Texas steak and salad are every day foods. Can't say enough about how great the place is.

My son (22 years old) and I went to Jaco Beach for a week! The restaurant in this hotel was a 5 star restaurant! Prices fair. The view of the ocean a beautiful bonus. This a must do restaurant - caesar salad, steak - delicious! The staff very friendly and accommodating. Laurie and Alex, Ontario Canada
