45USD for a single room, no TV, and 65USD for a twin cabin, both without air-con nor a fridge. I even had to ask for a towel, but there was no complimentary soap. Nickles and dimes place, for that price you're much better off somewhere else in town.

Beautiful gardens, excellent staff, rooms are all different so ask to see all available before choosing,(check out #6and7), exceptional value. Common kitchen is nice to have!
Vera the owner is a hoot!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights (we are leaving tomorrow) and we had the best time ever! It is a beautiful and relaxed place with nice rooms and great hospitality. They clean the room every day and they have laundry service. We also liked the jungle garden and the hammats in front of the door. We recomment this place to everyone who wants to enjoy a stay in puerto viejo!

Really enjoyed my stay here and it was the best value accomodation and the nicest in my 4 week trip. Vera, the quirky owner, is a lovely lady who was really helpful in advising lots of things (good restaurants, best beaches, best place to hire a bike etc). It is a really nice setting with a garden and chairs & hammocks scattered about the place & a stone's throw from the centre of town. Free wifi is good (enabling me to write this from my iPhone in my room). Would definitely recommend this place.
