This hotel is right near the port in Limon, the outside has been renovated and looks nice. Rooms are ok but much better than many i have seen in Limon and surrounding areas. Some AC units have been replaced, the old ones are a bit noisy. Price is fair and without doubt, this is the best option for this location. Nice staff, good wifi, some units have ocean view. Hot water works, water pressure is good and has a restaurant in the lobby, if you dont expect 5 stars and a flat screen tv etc..This place wins

For staying in Limon, this is probably one of your best options. The staff is capable and freindly, the room was fine and well worth the money. The ac was evry loud though, but the nice shower made up for it. Not very luxureus, but comfortable and fine. The restauarnt is not cheap but decent. a safe parking area only 20 meters away from the hotel where you can leave your car at night without worrying.

Great place to stay in the City of Limon. Hot showers, air conditioned rooms, safes in room, small clean rooms, nice balconies with chairs and ocean views, cable TV in rooms. Great food served in the hotel's restaurant...enjoyed all meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Prices were good, service was great...very friendly and helpful staff. Internet in lobby. Hotel is walking distance or a short taxi ride to all points of interest. Walking distance to the bank, market and shopping in downtown Puerto Limon. I am 44, a single female traveller/semi backpacker style and have had very nice stays/experiences in the City of Limon. I have had no problems what so ever. I have read some bad reviews of this city. I have travelled there many times and have never had a bad experience. I find the city safe and friendly. Travel "smart", don't flash money or jewlery and you won't have any problems. I will definately return to the City of Puerto Limon to visit/vacation. The Caribbean side of Costa Rica is fantastic!!!
