We stayed 3 nights in a bungalow at Cabinas Iguana, and it was excelent. We stayed in the main bungalow there and we liked having our own facilities to use in the bungalows. The situation is perfect; right by the Carribean and only a 5 minute bike ride away from the town centre and the national park. They don't provide meals there but there are lots of places to eat nearby so you don't need to head into the Centre of Cahuita every night. We rented out bikes from a local restaurant which worked really well, as it sped up journeys around Cahuita. The swimming pool is surrounded by the rainforest so you really feel as if you're in the heart of the rainforest when you're in it. We even saw a sloth one day while we were swimming, and it walked right past us. To cap off this brilliant accomodation, there is a reggae bar just down the road, with a live band some nights. An excellent stay!
