This B&B is a beautiful oasis close to the center of Cahuita. The grounds are very well kept with a nice pool area and also an outdoor covered lounging area. The cabinas were nice and clean with a ceiling fan. Michelle was very welcoming and helpful with information. We enjoyed the large plates of fresh fruit at breakfast along with eggs and toast and of course great costa rican coffee. The beach was right accross the street, and the center of Cahuita was only a short 5-minute walk away. Cahuita National Park was only a 10 minute walk away also. There are quite a few good restaurants in and around Cahuita. We would definitely recommend this B&B and would stay there again on our next visit to Cahuita
This charming B&B is very well located in Cahuita.Walking distance from the Center of Cahuita and Cahuita National Park. Also the beach is just across the road.
Very peaceful atmosphere with beautiful garden and refreshing pool.We added a spacious room with comfortable terrace and to start your day...you will be served a delightful breakfast.
Very accommodating staff and Michelle, the owner, was very helpful booking us for excursions and dinners.
I highly recommend it to anyone and I plan to return on my next trip to Costa Rica
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with our family here. We knew we would be well taken care of when our taxi driver, lost after a four hour drive from San Jose, phoned the Inn. Not content to simply give directions, Marjorie guided him turn by turn to the gate, standing outside to look for us and waving us in.
Six of us shared the lovely house. The 2 rooms upstairs each have a balcony looking out over the jungle--we spent one afternoon watching a family of Howler monkeys cavort in the trees. There's also a porch on the lower level looking out over a beautiful private garden full of hummingbirds darting about. Breakfast was delightful--tropical fruit, eggs served your way, and toast made with fantastic homemade bread. After observing my husband surgically remove the yolks from his fried eggs, Marjorie asked one morning "would you like just egg whites?" and from then on, he had his scrambled egg whites! Michelle, the owner, could not have been more accommodating--she went out of her way to make reservations for us for our anniversary dinner, and recommended terrific restaurants for our other meals. Everyone working there managed the perfect balance of being available and friendly without being overbearing.
El Encanto is just blocks away from the Cahuita National Park, where we spent several days hiking and playing in the ocean. Tree of Life wildlife sanctuary is a long but pleasant walk, and of course it's just a couple minutes to walk to the town.
Our extended family of eight stayed here and had a marvelous time. The grounds are beautiful with lots of small wildlife. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed and helping us with some day tours. The breakfast of fresh fruit, bread, eggs, coffee, etc. was great. We also really appreciated the refreshing pool at the end of our day. We would love to return to Cahuita, a very special town, and would certainly stay here again.
