This hotel is very basic (bring your own toiletries) but clean and the staff was great. We were able to check in early and the hotel maid was in the room next door when she came and introduced herself and asked if we needed anything. She went and found us an ice bucket and showed us where the ice is hidden. The breakfast also is very simple, but you will not starve. The reason to stay at the hotel is all about the view. From our room we had an unbelievable oceanview. It is an easy walk to the beach as it is just across the road and the beach itself is beautiful. It is also a very easy walk to shops and restaurants - we did it every evening we were there. So if you want a room at a very reasonable rate, for Tamarindo, with a million dollar view, book an oceanview room at this hotel.
