What a dump?… What a review!!!! We don’t know why you had such a bad stay at our hotel, but you really didn’t do us much justice in your review. Our standard and ocean view rooms may be cozy, but hey, you can’t beat our prices or our service! Plus, if you are feeling a little bit daring, you can always ugrade to a suite with almost 1000 square feet of space to spread out in. As to our air conditioners, we have no regulated speed. The remote controls regulate the temperature from very cold to cold, it’s all at the touch of a button. If you simply didn’t know how to use the remote, we have an amazingly friendly English speaking staff who could have easily helped you out.

We appreciate it when someone notices the kind of hotel that we truly are: a good value for the money. This may be a small, family-owned hotel, but you can’t beat the prices for our rooms and services. We like that you recognized that our location affords our guests a great view, and that our staff are polite and on the ball. All of these things make up the Best Western Tamarindo Vista Villas.

Honestly, we never like to hear that a guest has had a bad experience at the Best Western Tamarindo Vista Villas, and we truly do care if you do not leave satisfied. As for the rest of our reviews being written by "young party goers", we prefer to disagree. We get clients of all shapes, sizes, ages, and nationalities, and we should know because we find it important to keep track of these kinds of things. At the end of the day, what we have found is that generally, negative reviews like yours do not come from one particular guest profile, instead, they come from poorly managed expectations. You will never find any artificial ingredients in our publications, website, or any other marketing materials. In fact, we aren't even too keen on splurging on professional photo shoots of our rooms... You'll find that the photos we post on our website are actual photos taken by us! We admit that we are not a five star resort, but we do not charge like one either! During the regular season, our non-equipped rooms come modestly priced from $69-$94 and our fully-equipped suites are a bargain at $109 - $159 per night. Of course, if you would rather stay in a place like "Conchael" (I assume you mean The Westin as it is the only resort in Playa Conchal) you are more than welcome to pay a sticker price of $760 a night. But don't worry, they have a red-hot online deal going on right now.... Its a steal at $532 per night per person, but, alas, "you have to have a car".
