The hotel was very accommodating and was in a perfect spot. The hotel had a very nce beach front location with high class beach setting on the property grounds. We stayed at the hotel section on the beach side at a third floor room for 5..2 adults and kids 14,12,and 9.
The hotel bar had a nice dinner for us and wasn't as expensive as the buffet on the beach,more of a romantic setting. Of all the hotels we saw this was the highest class felt like an all-inclusive with a free breakfast..

We had a flight out of Liberia at 7:00am so the only bad thing was leaving at about 4-4:30 am. Ask the front desk the night before to pack you a breakfast to go.

At night we walked immediately out the hotel if we were tired for food. The better spot was a block and a 1/2 down on the left hand side we walked up a long block and had many choices to pick for a dinner. We went to a place called Wok and Roll which was good for a combination of Asia food choices.

On our last day we took a boat tour which was o.k. It wasn't the best for families with all the booz you could drink but it could have been because we were there in non kid season.

We would definitely stay here again if we returned.

Overall this is a very good resort. The beach is very wide and easy to walk on. And, this is the only major hotel right on the beach. We had an upper floor, ocean view room, which we would highly recommend. A part of the hotel is across the street and it seemed like it would be a little remote. There's one large, very nice bar in the restaurant area next to the beach. We had a couple of minor requests that we gave to the front desk regarding our room and they were responded to quickly, which you don't always find. The resort staff was friendly and our only comment is that they were not particularly fun. We're used to going to all-inclusives in the Dominican where the staff maybe doesn't work quite so hard, but are a lot of fun. Tamarindo isn't a real good area if you want to see a lot of wildlife but is great for a beach vacation, which is what we wanted. We would definitely go back to this resort if we were staying in the Tamarindo area again.

The Tamarindo Diria Hotel met our basic expectations. The rooms were airy, clean and well maintained. The grounds lovely although the place often felt crowded. The beach itself is gorgeous.Breakfast was very good, but the lunch and dinner menus were disappointing. A lovely place for families with children.

We spent 2 nights last week and were very surprised at how nice this place is. The grounds were pretty and the rooms large and clean and fresh. We stayed at the cheapest room they had and it was very nice. It was large, clean, and very comfortable. I'd definitely go back and stay there again.
