We stayed here for four nights and were reasonably happy with the accommodations. The price is VERY affordable and the rooms are clean, if not sparse. Keep in mind the location is not the best, as you must drive 10 minutes to Tamarindo. The restaurant that is adjacent to the property is not good, I would steer clear and go into Tamarindo to dine.

Staff here go above and beyond to make your stay pleasurable. This is located a short drive from many beautiful beaches like Playa Grande, Tamarindo and Flamingo. The grounds are manicured and make for a quiet relaxing retreat. Breakfast is free with a choice of Continental or Typical. I suggest the Typical. The restaurant in front at first appears to have a limited menu until closer inspection. The Chef provides a varied selection of exquisitly prepared dishes as well as an assortment of gourmet pizzas. if you are looking for a clean comfortable and quiet, this is a great option. if you are looking for excitement and nightlife, have a car and drive 15 minutes sto Tamarindo.

This is a relative inexpensive motel similar to the independently owned Best Westerns throughout the American west. We stayed 1 night. The room was clean and comfortable, if a bit small. The pool is large and very nice, and the area surrounding the pool is beautifully kept and we enjoyed relaxing there. They have a free shuttle which goes in to town once a day at 10:30 and returns late in the afternoon. We took the shuttle in the morning & returned in a taxi. The taxi costs $10 one way. The staff was very helpful in every way. The buffet breakfast includes typical hot and cold items, but no cereal, and was just OK. If you don't need to stay in town, or don't want to pay the price, this is a great choice. The pizza restaurant next door is just OK.

Lovely place. Good service yet limited for eatting. They serve breakfast only (which was delicious) and there is a pizza bar next door. I loved it here because it was quiet and intimate.
