Entre dos Aguas is a beautiful hotel set off the main road just as you arrive in Samara - in fact it's an oasis in the middle of a lot of development. The rooms (we stayed in #7) are gorgeous and large, and the rock walled shower is something that must be seen. The common area is also quite comfortable and helpful, if not particularly welcoming.

That's one of the two problems we had with the hotel - it's not particularly welcoming. Hotels definitely cater to a genre of clientele, and dos Aguas caters to those child-free couples or singles in their 20's and 30's who like to party and "hang out." We came with our 5 year old and instantly felt as though we had to keep her quiet and contained the entire time. And then the partying began - the top floor room has a deck directly over the end room, and every little chair scrape or slightly louder than normal voice transmits.

Of course, this was not the other guests' fault - the hotel is just thin-walled. But when we asked if we could get another room so we could sleep, we were met with indifference.

So, a beautiful hotel with hands-off owners/managers - fine. If you like to stay up late and party, Entre dos Aguas is perfect for you. If you've got kids, I'd steer clear.

We stayed in Entre Dos Aguas for 1 week with our 2-year old and enjoyed every moment of it. Brandon and Lilah, the owners, are very hospitable and are always ready to help. The breakfast is excellent, rooms are very clean and the rockshowers are something to be experienced! We didn't long for Air-con at all, fans keep the rooms at ok temperature, especially the bigger upstairs rooms. There's a wifi which works very well and a book-exchange. Free coffee is available all day.

The communal area has a small kitchen and a fridge, which is very useful. Hammocks are great! Loved to hangout there. Another favorite is the pool, which is big and clean. And only 5 minutes to beach and even less to some of the finest dining!

If they have rooms available when you plan to visit Playa Sámara, don't think twice. This is a supervalue!

Perfect place to spent a night or 2 when visiting Samara

I stayed here for a week back in 2010. We had only planned to stay for two nights and just didn't want to leave. The rooms are great, the pool is a haven, it's near the beach and the breakfast is divine. The staff really made us feel at home, as well as the resident monkeys! A fab place to stay. Charlie C
