Our family (2 adults and three children age 11,15 and 17) stayed 6 nights at Villas Pepitas during our three weeks in Costa Rica. Villas Pepitas was perfect for us. We had the separate house with two bedrooms, a big kitchen and bathroom. The veranda was our relax area where we, due to the vegetation felt very private. I think our children never will forget the Chistmas dinner, selfmade in the kitchen, we had on the veranda. Having the pool a few meters away from the veranda was convenient. Eventhough we spent quite some time at the beach, we appreciated that the hotel was not near the beach since we thus could avoid the late night noise close to the beach.
Both the owner and staff was very helpful when we needed advice or assistance.

Villas Pepitas was my favorite place in Costa Rica. We stayed in the ground floor one-bedroom apartment and found it to be quite spacious. The gardens are beautiful and make the patio/hammock area for each apartment feel very private. The pool is small but lovely and perfectly clean. And best of all, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The owner himself really made us feel welcome and went out of his way to help us in a difficult situation, and the rest of the staff were equally friendly and helpful. The owner happened to be out of town the day we left, and he actually wrote us a personal note thanking us for staying and apologizing for not being able to give us a proper good bye. And all this after only a two night stay! If I am ever back in Samara, I will without a doubt be staying at Villas Pepitas!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was lovely, they were very hospitable, and the price was very reasonable.

The only downsides were there were no screens on the windows, so we couldn't really open up the windows at night. Also, this is not a "breakfast included" place, which we knew ahead of time. But once there we realized it would have been much easier to have breakfast at our hotel.

Very nice little villa with 2 separate bedrooms. the pool was on a few meters of our little villa and our two children enjoyed it. Samara is a beautiful place to stay and Villas Pepitas, the owner and his personal were very nice. It cannot be otherwise as the best accomodation in the surroundings.
