Really enjoyed the quiet, the spectacular view of Papagayo Gulf, the green plush hillsides, sunsets, lightening show. Pool was great to cool down and relax.
the staff was great, rooms always clean and fresh. Great breakfast, coffee always ready when I was. Great suggestions for tours and restuarants.

Really enjoyed the local flair..open markets, fresh seafood, nite life with local music and then home at Casa Vista Azul for final relaxation under the stars. Enjoyed the howling monkeys in the hills right next to us.

I would highly recommend a stay here and I will come back.

i have been here beginning of april, Ithought i would have stayed a couple of nights, I almost stayed 2 weeks :) location is on the mountain aorund playa del coco, so you will have a great view of the bay even if you are a little bit far from the main beach. i really loved this place and I came here driven mainly by the reviews. all confirmed: staff is great in assisting for any trip you might want to do, breakfasts are super and most of all you are treated like a prince!

This is a great little hotel. The rooms are nice, simple and clean. The service was great! Bonnie and Lee are wonderful. Lee is a great cook and we looked forward to breakfast daily! The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful in planning out your days (if you need help). They have great suggestions and detailed directions, which makes the trip that much nicer! The location is perfect, not too close too town and not too far. We recommend a car for getting around in Costa Rica. The hotel is nestled in a quiet area up in the mountain with amazing views. The rooftop is also beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.

I love this place!! The view is out of this world. I opened the curtains each morning to a painting of the Gulf of Papagayo scattered with fishing boats, mountains, & the village of Coco below. It was so beautiful I thought it was a painting. It's definitely too noisy downtown at night to stay in a hotel there, so this is the perfect getaway, yet so close to town with a rental car or taxi. The owner is from the states & will help make your stay the best ever!!
