We only stayed here for two nights, once at the beginning of our trip, once at the end -largely because of the proximity to San Jose airport -but I would certainly stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.
The family are extremely nice and friendly, they provide a very good shuttle service to and from the airport,and they very kindly let us leave loads of stuff in a suitcase which we picked up on the second night ( we didn't need the stuff for our Costa Rica trip and were going onto Cuba after)
Room Tip: The only down side is that the tin roof rattles outside if there is a lot of wind..I didn't hear...
