When we arrived at the airport the owner picked us up, good service when you arrive in a strange country. The rooms are nice and clean and there are great beds, also the breakfast the next morning was very good with fresh fruit and a lot of variety. We loved the pool and the nice garden with a lot of birds. We enjoyed our first 2 nights in this nice hotel with very kind owners and will stay there again when we return next year.

The owners of Dos Palmas are so friendly and they are specialists in facilitating. Dutch people like a good hotel for a good price and friendly people who know what you need especially when you have travelled a long day and that is what Peter and Flor understand. They arrange a taxi, a good rand cheap rental car, they give you all the information you want and they help you with everything you need. It is a small but cosy hotel, with large and nice rooms. You feel like being with a family, but with a lot of privacy. A nice swimming pool and tennis court to give you the right feeling of the beginning and ending of a nice holiday. We arrived in Costa Rica in the late evening of januari 31 th. There was a warm welcome at Dos Palmas, Peter had some firework, we got champagne and we got spontanious hugs from whole family!
On our way back we stayed 4 days becouse our passports were stolen and we had to arrange temporary passports and visa for our transfer in houston. Peter and Flor helped us with really everything! We could use their cellphone, we got the most beautifull room they have got, they wanted to borrow us money and they answerred all our questions with immense patience. We will never forget what they did for us and every vacation in the future will start and end at Dos Palmas!

We stayed in Dos Palpas from December 17 to 19 and from December 31 to January 2nd.
An ideal place to start our holiday in Costa Rica and to have some relaxed days at the end of our holiday.
Everything we already aranged from home by mail was ok:
The transfer from the airport. The car rental. And the biggest surprise: the "room" we rented was a real "house" only for our family...
Nice garden, swimming-pool and breakfast-corner/bar.
Peter and Flor were always verry helpful: thanks for a beautifull stay!

Tip: if possible: don't bring flowers with you to pleasure Peter (they have enough of them in their garden) but a bottle of "hollandse frietsaus"....

Just when i landed , the owner Peter picked me up from the airport. A verry friendly person. It was a warm welcome and he showed me my room. Fixed me allready breakfast and arranged me a cab for the next morning because i had an early flight to Puerto Jeminez.(Pto J)The room was nice and clean, so i had a good sleep. After 8 days in Pto J i slept here an other night in casa rustica a verry nice traditional Costa rican stiled room. Perfect again! Here I met Peters hardwarming wife Flor. She was verry nice to us and is a really nice person. Peter is a lucky Guy ;) Definitly a place to come back when i'm in Costa Rica!
