As usual, the room was clean and the service was great. They had a snack in my room waiting for me (peanut butter and crackers and a soda - but you don't usually expect that for $68 a night room).
The service as always was pleasant and they have a cooler of sodas and bottled water near the checkin desk that are complimentary with your stay. Which is really nice when you come in after a long drive.
Beyond the service, cleanliness, and snacks there aren't a lot of frills. But I'd much rather have those things that frills when I'm traveling for business. I've never tried the breakfast so I don't know what that's like, but this is one of my favorite places to stay in and around Tuscaloosa.
