Nothing special, but nice. Our room was quite large, with two queen beds and a sofa. It was a good deal for the money. Located next to Sam's Club and a Super Wal-mart there was a lot of traffic.

We have stayed here often when visiting our children @ the University. James, the manager is very helpful and friendly. He remembers us and usually puts us in the same spacious room during each visit. This property has been remodeled in the last 2 years with new linens, too. Small indoor pool. Location is convenient to shopping and restaurants. Within driving distance to campus.

Recently, on a road trip to Atlanta, I stopped midway in Tuscaloosa for the night before continuing my trip the next day.. Days Inn Tuscaloosa was actually pretty good for the value. Only paid $61 for the night and the room was pretty clean. There were 2-3 dead bugs in the globe surrounding the bathroom light, but other than this, there were no other problems found associated with the room. Did not have a dingy smell like so many hotels have.
The lobby of the hotel is being remodeled so for now, you can only step inside the front door and use the window with the hole at the bottom to do your transaction. The hotel personnel were very friendly and very courteous....
Overall, for a 1-2 night stay while travelling or for a Bama ballgame, I would highly reccomend the Days Inn Tuscaloosa....

Nice hotel, right in the middle of a busy suburb with access to stores, restaurants, etc. Rooms are large with couch, refrigerator, internet access. We had a second floor room with no elevator, and quite a way from the stairs. Seemed like a long haul with our luggage.
