Upon arriving for check-in, I was greeted by two very friendly smiling faces. Check-in was fast, and I was given Internet connection passwords, directions to the room, and breakfast hours without having to ask. Ample parking and well-lit. Good location. Our room was clean but did smell a little overwhlemingly of popcorn (not really a problem, though). There were 5 pillows, so you could definitely get a comfortable one for sleeping. The bed was a little hard for my comfort, but it wasn't horribly uncomfortable. The bathroom was clean with unstained plush linens. The room had a microwave and refrigerator. The heat was a little difficult to regulate - either too warm or too cool. The TV was an old tube TV, but the remote worked well and there were ample channels. I was very pleased with this Days Inn room until about 12 midnight when suddenly we were awakened by the booming of music. Around 1 we went to the front desk and spoke with the young lady on duty. She explained that she could not leave the desk, but stated she would attempt to find out what room the music was coming from (not sure how she planned to do that without leaving the desk). She called our room about 10 minutes later and said she had no idea where the music was coming from. Around 2 a.m., we finally took a walk around the property ourselves to try to find the culprits. We passed another gentleman looking himself to find out where the blaring music was coming from. Neither of the three of us could figure it out... it was as if they heard us walking and turned it down or the door stifled the sound. The blaring music got louder as the night progressed. Finally, about 4 a.m., they shut it down and we were able to go to sleep. I'm not sure what the solution is and I don't blame Days Inn for the rude inconsiderate people blaring their music in the wee hours of the morning; however, Days Inn needs to have a policy in place for situations such as this since patrons do pay for a night of rest/sleep. Because everything else about our stay went well, I would definitely give the Days Inn another chance.
